Sizing and Scale
Not sure whether it will fit? Want to know how big those earrings are?
To find out your size, measure your neck or wrist with a measuring tape, or lay out a necklace or bracelet that fits, and
measure with a ruler. Remember that the circumference and shape of the beads on each piece cause my listed measurements to
be approximate. For example, very small beads on a 17" necklace may fit you, but large round beads on the same 17"
necklace could be tight.
Each of the items on my site contain a size reference in the description. Length is listed for necklaces and bracelets,
and a size of small- extra large is assigned to each pair of earrings.
The following is the approximate scale for earrings,
which includes the earwire or post (keep in mind that larger beads may cause earrings to be classified as large, even
though they are short):
Small - 1.5 inches or less
Medium - 1.5-2.5 inches
Large- 2.5-3.5 inches
X-Large - 3.5+ inches, or especially wide
Remember, any item can be resized to fit you, and if you need a different style of earring back, I can change them out.
I want you to be satisfied with the fit of your new jewelry. If you receive an item and it doesn't fit, simply email me,
and we can arrange for free alteration.*
* If more than 6 beads need to be added, or a complex piece needs to be restrung, additional charges may apply.
