Kids' parties and workshops with Dana Saylor Designs are a fun way to entertain kids at a birthday party, or teach them
something new and exciting. Tailored to suit girls AND boys, no one will be left out! I offer several different projects
for you to choose from, and each child gets to customize their jewelry:
1.) Memory wire necklace
or bracelet- one-size-fits all springy stainless steel wire that retains its circular shape. Kids choose their seed beads,
decorative charm, and accent beads- everyone will leave with a unique piece!
2.) Leather charm necklace:
from ballerinas to basketball, I have many charms to suit kids' interests. They choose from several different colors of leather
or silk cord, accent beads, and I will help them finish it to the perfect length.
3.) Long chain
and bead necklace: geared toward teenage girls, this project involves a choice of chain: silver, gold, brass, or gunmetal,
with a variety of funky beads to intersperse. I will assist with the technical aspects.
I offer
in-home parties, or workshops at your organization. Either way, I will arrive at least 1/2 hour early to set up and prepare.
Here are the age groups and maximum guests:
Between 6-9 years old, maximum 15 guests (including birthday
child)
Ages 10-14, maximum 12 guests (including birthday child)
Ages
15 and up, maximum 8 guests (including birthday child)
PRICING: There is a $50 flat fee to cover
my time, fuel, and stock. There is also a per-child materials cost, which ranges between $8-15, depending on which project
is chosen.
When working with kids age 6 and up, I recommend that most parents remain present
during the party to assist their children. Should you desire multiple workshop sessions to accommodate all your signups,
I would be happy to do that. I only offer one project type per party/workshop to keep things running smoothly and minimize
confusion. So, if the kids would like to do memory wire necklaces, everyone will make memory wire necklaces (but as mentioned
before, the kids almost always make something different and unique from one another!) Please fill out the form below with
